Shangri-La Bosphorus, Istanbul, Turkey
The Shangri-La may not be quite as well located along the Bosphorus as the other 5* Bosphorus hotels, it has no outside areas, but its interior is lovely and in fact the Shangri-La offers excellent value.
Rooms here are exceptionally spacious, while the public areas are highly attractive, with excellent flower displays sending an enticing aroma through the hotel. The hotel has an indoor swimming pool, a spa and health club, two restaurants as well as a lobby lounge which serves a delicious afternoon tea, followed by tapas in the evening.
