The Argos in Cappadocia is a spectacular hotel situated just behind Uçhisar Castle, overlooking the lower end of Pigeon Valley.
Rooms are spread throughout the grounds, which consist of different levels connected by attractive gardens and terraces offering fantastic views. Each of the rooms is beautifully decorated, giving a real sense of the area but in a luxurious style. The 'stone rooms' offer a unique, cave-like ambience, while suites feature private cave pools.
The main building houses an excellent restaurant, an intimate lounge with an open fire, and the hotel's extensive wine cellars which include wine from the Argos's own vineyards. Within the grounds is an ancient monastery and a tunnel which harks back to the days when much of the population of Cappadocia lived underground.
Guests can hire bicycles from the Argos.
