Rooms
The resort has five private woodland cabins. Each complex consists of two dwellings: one with one bedroom and a relaxation space, and one with a cooking and living space. The buildings are connected by a private outdoor deck space with Adirondack chairs, forest views, and in some cabins a hot tub.
The cabins have a modern, natural design with plenty of space. Amenities include a fully equipped kitchen, locally produced, eco-friendly coffee and tea, bathroom essentials, lush bathrobes, organic cotton bedding, a radio, essential oil diffuser, books, and games.
Location
Hope-Wellness Eco-Resort is nestled among the lush forests of Albert County in New Brunswick, overlooking the Bay of Fundy. The location strikes a balance between peaceful seclusion and easy access to local experiences. The Hopewell Rocks are just a five-minute drive from the resort, and there are plenty of quiet beaches nearby that have some of the warmest seawater in Canada. Fundy National Park is also within driving distance, offering miles of hiking trails that run along rugged shores and forest streams.
Food and drink
All the resort's food and drinks are locally sourced and use seasonal ingredients. Their culinary philosophy mirrors Hope-Wellness’s overall ethos: thoughtful, sustainable, and deeply connected to the region. Guests can enjoy local craft beer, wine, and season-inspired cocktails at the outdoor bar, light snacks at the Nordic Spa, and fresh smoothies and pastries at the cafe.
Facilities and activities
All guests have access to the Nordic lounge and resort amenities at their leisure. The lounge features an outdoor heated saltwater pool powered by solar energy, a sauna, and a cold plunge pool. The resort encourages a social atmosphere with many communal firepits, indoor and outdoor chill-out spaces, an outdoor bar, and a beer garden. There’s also a resort trail system for those who want to explore the forest. Wi-Fi is available in the Nordic Lounge and main building, but not in the cabins.
One of the initial missions of the resort was to bring exceptional holistic wellness practices to guests and the community. They offer a range of spa treatments including massages, osteopathy, and sessions with a local wellness specialist and shamaness. There’s a dedicated yoga geodome with both private and group yoga sessions available.
Environmental and social responsibility
Sustainability is at the heart of Hope-Wellness Eco-Resort. They have a plant-a-tree initiative for every stay booked, offset their electricity use with solar energy, and maintain strong waste-reduction practices, including composting and zero single-use plastics.
Hot tubs are hybrid with firewood cut during selective forest management of the property. A rainwater catch basin is used to water the organic herb and vegetable garden on site. All wood for the cabins and structures was milled locally or on site, and furniture was sourced from local builders and suppliers as much as possible.
