Villa Blanca Cloud Forest Hotel and Nature Reserve

Villa Blanca is located across 75 acres of cultivated land surrounded by the beautiful Los Angeles Cloud Forest, an 800 acre private biological reserve belonging to the property.

The hotel used to be owned by ex Costa Rican president Rodrigo Carazo and his wife Dona Estrella who focused on providing welcoming country hospitality combined with a great respect for the surrounding environment, making Villa Blanca a member of 'The Green Hotels of Costa Rica'.

There are a total of 35 'casitas', which are spacious adobe style bungalows with terracotta roofs spread throughout cultivated gardens. The casitas are cozy and smartly presented with a fireplace, porch or terrace and en suite bathrooms.

The Deluxe Rooms and Honeymoon Suites have a Jacuzzi bath. Villa Blanca also has an excellent spa and the restaurant in the main hacienda boasts views to Arenal on clear days. There are numerous activities arranged by the lodge such as zip-lining, horse riding and guided walks.

The birdlife is prevalent and you are sure to see a great number of species just by wandering through the garden.
