The Xandari Resort & Spa in Alajuela is set on a former coffee plantation, with the 40 acre reserve located only 25 minutes from the center of San José. The 24 spacious villas and gardens have been designed and furnished with original paintings, mosaics, tapestries, stained glass and sculptures making the Xandari a truly unique experience.
The modern spa facilities set within tropical gardens offer a diverse range of treatments, and there are three well presented swimming pools. An onsite restaurant serves continental and Costa Rican cuisine using ingredients from the hotel's greenhouse, orchard and gardens. You can also enjoy a hike along four kilometers of private trails passing waterfalls along the way.
