Located on the Tapeka tip of the Russell peninsula in the heart of the subtropical paradise of the Bay of Islands is this award-winning retreat. Set within a 75 acre estate atop its own private ridgeline, and offering spectacular views of the Bay of Islands are five beautiful luxury villas; the outlook from the expansive outdoor sundecks is superb.
Each villa features a private heated lap pool or spa, as well as spacious contemporary rooms, original art works, flat-screen TVs and gourmet kitchens. There is also an extensive DVD, CD and video library available, should you wish to just sit back and relax, however the attractions of the Bay of Islands are on your doorstep and you could perhaps enjoy a scenic cruise, sailing, diving, kayaking, bush walking or a picnic on a remote beach.
There are two, safe, swimming beaches within ten minutes' walk from your villa, and staff are on hand to provide advice on how best to fill your time in the Northland. Finally there is a team of talented chefs who are able to specially design a menu of your choice, which could include freshly caught fish, venison, lamb or crayfish. They will prepare your meal in your villa, freeing your time to take in the breathtaking views with a superb glass of New Zealand wine from the estate's extensive cellar.
