The hotel has three different types of room. The Luxury rooms are the lowest category, but at 35 square meters are still extremely spacious and offer well-designed comfort, luxury bathroom amenities and city views. One step up are the Luxury Club rooms which give access to the Sofitel’s exclusive club lounge. The highest category rooms are the Junior Suites which offer all the benefits of the Luxury Club rooms but house more space to relax.

West lake is one of Hanoi’s most affluent areas which is understanding due to the beautiful setting. The largest lake in Hanoi is circled by lush greenery contrasting with modern highrise and the occasional Pagoda. The area is a lot more relaxed than the popular Old Quarter and not quite as quiet as the French district thus creating a good balance between action packed and relaxation. It offers a nice escape from the busy areas but is still close enough (only 10 minutes) from the main sites.

Food and drink

The Hotel has two restaurants. The Brasserie is open all day and has a daily buffet and an à la carte menu consisting of Asian and international options. The weekend seafood buffet is always popular.
