Conveniently located for a visit to the Grand Canyon, the Best Western Premier Grand Canyon Squire Inn is located in the town of Tusayan, just two miles from the South Rim gate. It's a large hotel with a full range of facilities including indoor and outdoor pools, three restaurants, a gym and its own bowling alley.

The hotel offers typical southwestern hospitality with classical decor in warm, earthy tones, a pleasant garden with outdoor seating and a fire pit, and family-friendly facilities such as adjoining rooms and a games arcade. The 318 spacious rooms are set over three floors and offer free Wi-Fi and air conditioning as well as a microwave and fridge.

The Canyon Cafe and Coronado Room restaurant serve American dishes with a focus on southwestern specialities, and the hotel features amenities such as a health club and salon, laundry services, a sports bar and games room, and a gift shop.

Although some facilities are in need of updating, the Best Western Premier Grand Canyon Squire Inn offers attentive service, comfortable rooms, and is well located for exploring the Grand Canyon.

Rooms

The hotel's spacious rooms are classically decorated with warm woods, earthy tones that echo those of the hotel's surroundings, and images of the Grand Canyon. Each room has a desk, i-Home docking station, microwave, fridge and tea and coffee maker. Free Wi-Fi and air conditioning come as standard. Bathrooms are large and the suites feature a spa bath. Most rooms are large enough to accommodate an additional bed and interconnecting rooms are available.

Location

The Grand Canyon Squire Inn is located in the small town of Tusayan on the main route to the South Rim of the Grand Canyon. The entrance to the national park is just 3.2 km (2 miles) with a shuttle bus operating to the national park every 20 minutes between March and September. The town also has a number of restaurants if you choose not to eat at the hotel.

Food and drink

The hotel has three restaurants serving classically American fare with a southwestern focus. A buffet breakfast is served in the Canyon Room café where chefs can also make hot dishes, such as omelettes, to order. The Coronado Room is open in the evening and serves a wide-ranging menu featuring some memorable southwestern options such as buffalo ribs, rattlesnake eggs and elk steaks. Children's menus are also available. More casual dining is on offer in the Squire Pub which serves pizza and classic pub dishes.

Families

Families are well catered for with interconnecting rooms, free infant beds, children's menus in the restaurant and plenty of family-friendly activities.
