Land's End Resort

Land's End Resort is located right at the end of Homer Spit and has 108 hotel rooms, most of which face Kachemak Bay. The property was originally built in 1957 and, following extensive damage after the 1964 earthquake, was restored to become Homer's leading hotel.

The Portside rooms are the oldest, followed by the Midship rooms and the newest are the Bayside rooms with great waterside views. All rooms are clean and comfortable and most have a very small private balcony for you to enjoy the spectacular views. In addition, most rooms contain either a king or two queen beds, while the large two-bedroom suites can sleep a family of five comfortably.

The sounds of the bay make for a relaxing stay, while the bald eagles fishing along the beachfront are sure to keep you entertained. The Chart Room Restaurant serves excellent food including freshly caught salmon and halibut, and has wonderful panoramic views across to the Kenai Mountains. In the bar, you can enjoy a drink as you watch the fishing boats returning and otters and sea lions playing in the bay.
