Rooms

In terms of the standard of rooms, Tenaya Lodge offers some of the most comfortable and modern options in Yosemite. The Lodge rooms located in the main building come with either a king bed or two doubles. There's also an extended room offering two double beds in a larger space, as well as different suite options depending on taste. All rooms are comfortably and warmly furnished and feature air conditioning, Wi-Fi, cable TVs, safes, fridges and coffee-making facilities.

If you're looking for a bit more privacy, the lodge also offers Cottage rooms just a short walk from the main resort. These consist of two or three bedrooms, each with direct outdoor access, as well as a fireplace, a microwave and an outdoor balcony or seating area. For ultimate Yosemite luxury, opt for a Cottage Suite, which also have a relaxing lounge area.

Location

Tenaya Lodge is located in Fish Camp, which is a ten-minute drive from the South Entrance of Yosemite National Park and just over an hour to the main viewpoints and trails. The surroundings provide a tranquil mountain resort atmosphere, and although there's little in terms of facilities surrounding the resort, the on site facilities are some of the best in the Yosemite area.

Food and drink

Guests are spoilt for choice when it comes to dining options at the lodge, with five different eateries found on site, including fine dining at Embers or a more casual experience at Sierra, Jackalope's Bar & Grill or Timberloft Pizzeria, which offer a fantastic alternative for couples and families. If you are just looking to grab a snack before or after exploring the park, there's also an on site deli. For drinks, the Bearfoot Bar serves a variety of beverages, as well as light lunches, and shows live sports on the TV.

Families

Most of the accommodation options can cater for families, with the cottages being particularly spacious. A babysitting service is available, and there are lots of activities for guests of all ages to enjoy, whether playing in the games room or exploring the great outdoors.

Facilities and activities

The lodge has two indoor pools, three outdoor pools and five hot tubs, including adult only options. A fitness centre, spa and laundry room is also available on site for guests' use, while the games room has video games, pinball machines, a pool table and air hockey.

Accessibility

A number of ADA-compliant rooms are available for guests with special needs or limited mobility, equipped with accessibility features such as wider doors, grab bars, lowered bathroom facilities, shower chairs, lowered peepholes and emergency strobe lighting.
