Cassia Cottage, Phu Quoc, Vietnam
The Cassia Cottage is a small, friendly hotel with a great central location on Long Beach. The 18 rooms are simply furnished and do not have televisions or telephone line. There are two small swimming pools, a beach side restaurant serving freshly caught fish and produce from the hotel's own farms.
Despite its simplicity, the villas have different options for all. There is a big beach house for larger groups and families, as well as very decently sized seaview rooms overlooking the pool and with partial sea views for couples.
Please note that in keeping with the hotels exceptional 'green policy', electricity is unavailable in the rooms between the hours of 10-12am and 2-5pm.

Cua Can River is well known as a historical river where the Ngo boat of Nguyen Trung Truc and his army was sunk in a battle with the French army. After many years of lying on the riverbed, the boat has been recovered and restored, and is now exposed at Duong Dong Traditional House.
