  • Drive to Buon Ma Thuot, via Pleiku, famous for its battlefields during the Vietnam War.

  • Perhaps visit the excellent Ethnology Museum this morning. Continue your journey south through the central highlands, passing through spectacular mountain scenery, to the former French colonial hill station of Dalat for an afternoon exploring this quirky town.

  • A second day enjoying trekking and around Tuyen Lam Lake. Enjoy the stunning mountain views and serene lakes.

  • Leave Dalat today, heading on to Saigon as you leave the hill station and continue south.
