Rooms

The lodge's rooms are spread across two wings, carefully positioned around the gardens to offer the most beautiful views. The rooms are all comfortably furnished with soft colours and plenty of natural light. All rooms are air-conditioned and fully en suite. Several of the rooms are interconnecting, so they’re ideal for families.

Location

Batonka has a superb location in a quiet suburb of Victoria Falls town, within walking distance of the rainforest entrance, the falls, and the town's attractions. The walk from the lodge to the falls will take approximately one hour at a leisurely pace. If you prefer not to walk this distance, the lodge runs complimentary shuttle buses twice daily.

Food and drink

Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are served at the lodge's restaurant, where you can choose between indoor seating or a peaceful outdoor dining setting.

There are two breakfast options every morning: either a full continental spread or a cooked breakfast. Lunch is served from an à la carte menu featuring six options, along with a selection of desserts. For dinner, a 3-course menu is offered, with two options per course.

The restaurant also features a fully stocked bar offering a wide selection of wines, spirits, and refreshments. The bar also has a coffee machine.

Facilities and activities

The central area of the lodge features sprawling lawns and meticulously cared-for flower beds, a pool surrounded by shaded loungers, and indoor and outdoor dining areas. The lounge has plenty of soft seating and a fireplace for the chillier evenings.

Your activities at Victoria Falls will be booked in advance. However, should you want to add any additional activities during your stay, reception is open daily from 6am to 10pm and can help make arrangements.
