Travel that's shaped around you

We know that travel has the most meaning when it's created individually for you. Our specialists will only start designing your trip once they understand exactly what you want it to be. So, consider this idea simply as inspiration for your own experience.

Itinerary idea in detail

Includes international flights from a choice of UK airports, including London, Birmingham, Manchester, Newcastle, Edinburgh and Glasgow.

  • Today you begin your journey by boarding your international outbound flight to Buenos Aires.

  • Arrive in Buenos Aires. Have the afternoon to explore Argentina's diverse capital.

  • Fly to the world's most southerly city of Ushuaia.

  • Free time in the morning to explore the city before you board the ship and set sail along the Beagle Channel.

  • Crossing the Drake Passage.

  • Come to the end of the Drake Passage and start to spot the first icebergs as you approach the South Shetland Islands and the Antarctic Peninsula.

  • This itinerary is designed to highlight some of the adventure options available in Antarctica. In recent seasons these have really developed and range from camping and kayaking to scuba diving and rock climbing. Often you will need a specialist expedition to access them all but our specialists will be able to point you in the right direction.

  • All landings and excursions in Antarctica are subject to local weather conditions at the time. What follows is an idea of how your trip may pan out. Perhaps spend the day kayaking through the ice looking for seals.

  • You might spend tonight camping on the ice with the sound of a penguin colony nearby.

  • Today could be all about photography as you head off on foot with a professional guide to find the best angles and lighting opportunities.

  • Putting on a dry suit may be a first for you, if it isn't then diving in Antarctica almost certainly will be! This could be the day for you to see life below the ice and waves.

  • Your last few hours in Antarctica may well be spent snorkelling a quiet cove, giving you amazing images to remember it all by. At some point today you will start crossing back over the Drake Passage.

  • At sea crossing the Drake Passage.

  • Early morning arrival back in Ushuaia and transfer to the airport for a flight to Buenos Aires.

  • Begin your journey home.

  • Arrive home today to complete your journey.
