Accessible only by boat, the island offers spacious suites, villas and private residences dotted across the secluded the 300-acre haven. Its extensive land provides walking or cycling, a range of water sports, golf and deep-sea fishing, with a dedicated children’s programme and activities.

The resort’s public areas and accommodation is bright and spacious with high ceilings, clean white walls and contemporary décor of light pine or white furniture with pastel blue and grey tones throughout, giving a typical beachside holiday feel.

Jumby Bay’s all-inclusive nature means all day à la carte dining is available throughout the resort’s grounds and even by yacht, with food and drink tastings or cooking classes, as well as the tennis courts and 24 hour fitness centre.

The indulgent spa offers a variety of treatments available from the ocean-view treatment rooms, including massages, facials, wraps and beauty treatments, with yoga and meditation classes held in the shaded garden’s dedicated pavilion.

Rooms

Awash with calming, neutral tones, the accommodation at Jumby Bay ranges from suites to villas to private residences, each offering views of the turquoise Caribbean Sea. The sophisticated decor is modern yet traditional, its high ceilings and soft palette embodying both nature and elegance. The suites come with king size beds and en suite bathrooms as standard and an outdoor garden shower, with higher category suites including a private outdoor pool. Villas range from two- to four-bedroom options, while the private residences can have up to nine bedrooms, each with a living area, kitchen and dining area and private pools. Wi-Fi and air-conditioning is found throughout the hotel and all accommodation.

Location

Jumby Bay’s remote location as a private island means it is accessible only by boat, with no cars in sight, yet is a mere two miles off the northeast coast of Antigua. Guests can relax in the knowledge of the island’s privacy, and explore the tranquil atmosphere where it’s undisturbed land has encouraged sea turtle nesting sites.

Food and drink

There are plentiful options for dining at Jumby Bay, from the many on-site restaurants such as the fine-dining Estate House with its West Indies inspired cuisine, The Jumby Bay Veranda’s casual-chic small plates and cocktails, or the alfresco Pool Grille or Beach Shack. Bars range from the Colonial 1830 bar in the historic plantation house to the beachside Genny’s Bar. Guests in the private residences can enjoy dining in, indulging on fresh seafood and local produce under the care of a personal chef and butler.

Families

Catering to families, Jumby Bay offers its very own children’s club, Jumby Explorers, as well as additional special events and activities. Families can enjoy bike rides, water sports, tennis, swimming and dancing, as well as educational activities, introducing children to the island’s natural surroundings and unique wildlife. The accommodation also offers a variety of family-friendly amenities such as cribs, baby skincare products, changing tables and en suite wireless baby monitors.

Facilities and activities
