A modern international style hotel in an excellent central location by the river. The hotel has a pool and a couple of good restaurants.
Pullman Kuching is a contemporary hotel located on top of a small hill at Jalan Mathies, in the heart of the city. It offers excellent panoramic views of the surrounding cityscape and the Sarawak River. The 389 spacious and well-equipped rooms all have river views and are designed in a contemporary style.

The hotel offers lots of room choices that vary in size. These range from the smallest but still spacious superior room right up to the grand executive superior room, with each room in between offering that little bit of extra luxury and detail to accommodate for all tastes and needs. All rooms have a private bathroom, TV and Wi-Fi connection, and offer excellent views of the city below.
A minute walk down to the river takes you into the heart of Kuching, where you can visit the markets and amble past the old colonial buildings. This largely flat city allows you to make your way around fairly comfortably, without too much need for transportation. Next door is the famous Top Spot Seafood Court where you enter through an inconspicuous car park, and make your way to the top floor for deliciously fresh seafood at very reasonable prices.
Food and drink
There are three restaurants to choose from at the Pullman, which use locally sourced and quality produced ingredients in every meal. Buffet and a la carte menus providing a selection of international and local dishes are available all day in Puzzle, while tasty authentic Chinese food is served in Nu Er Hong. Café Ch@t is open all day for lighter bites, juices and coffee.
The Pullman is a family-friendly hotel. All rooms can fit an extra bed comfortably, adjacent rooms can be requested or there is the option of the family room with just that little bit more space to fit everyone in. Should you find yourself spending a day lazing by the pool, there is also an option for the kids as well.
Facilities and activities
The Pullman offers a level of luxury that is hard to find in other parts of Borneo, including an outdoor pool with sundeck and adjoining bar, a Balinese style spa to relax after those long days of trekking, and a gym and fitness centre for those who wish to keep active.
The entire hotel is wheelchair accessible with several lifts allowing for easy access to the rooms.
We think this is a comfortable and luxurious place in which to relax and unwind after a day exploring the rugged and wilder side of Borneo.

Convenient location, warm service and characterful, the Ranee Boutique offers everything we love at Audley. Located next to the Sarawak River and within Kuching’s picturesque old town, Ranee is a great jump-off point for all of Sarawak’s excursions, local tours and close by to many wonderful restaurants.

This is a great experience for nature lovers and the adventurous. After a 40 minute drive from town you arrive at the mist covered hillsides around Bengoh, a delightful Bidayuh village.
