It's the only hotel within easy walking distance of the entrance, allowing you to explore it at your leisure. You can easily get a taxi into town for a choice of evening meals.

Rooms
Surrounded by beautiful, natural landscape, the hotel's rooms are simple but comfortable, offering a good range of amenities such as Wi-Fi, air conditioning, TVs, hair dryers and safes. The entry-level rooms come with either a double bed or twin beds, while the Suites offer more space with a seating area, as well as a whirlpool bath. Many of the rooms and suites boast ocean views from private balconies.
Location
The Sanma hotel is situated about a 10 to 15 minute drive from Foz do Iguaçu town, but is within easy walking distance (five minutes) of the entrance to Iguaçu National Park. From here you can pay for your entrance, and the free shuttle bus takes you right up to the edge of the falls. This easy access to the falls is the San Martin's biggest plus point, as it removes travel time and expense in getting to the national park. It's also only a short journey from the airport at Foz, making it ideal for a couple of nights on the Brazilian side of the falls.
Food and drink
The on site restaurant, Taroba, serves breakfast and fairly pricey lunch and evening meals in a casual setting. A good alternative is to dine in one of the park's restaurants during the day and heading into Foz for dinner. The hotel's bar occasionally offers live music in the evening and serves snacks and light lunches.
Facilities and activities
Facilities on site include a swimming pool, a gym and a spa, as well as a tennis court, football pitch, adventure playground and a number of trails to explore in its grounds.
