Tuck into a hearty mountain feast in a remote rustic cabin near Whistler after making fresh tracks by snowmobile through the Callaghan Valley.
Whistler’s snowy mountains and forests are home to more than just ski trails, and there are other opportunities if you want a different kind of adventure. On this four-hour snowmobiling and dining experience, you'll carve your way through Whistler’s remote backcountry to a rustic cabin on Sproatt Mountain. Here, you’ll tuck into a full Yukon-style breakfast and get warm again before making the descent.
You’ll meet your small group and guide in Whistler’s downtown to take a 20 minute shuttle to the Callaghan Valley. On arrival, you’ll be kitted out with helmets, gloves and waterproof clothing, and learn how to operate the snowmobiles. It’s then time to venture onto the forested trails.
Once you’ve ascended, you’ll reach a remote cabin overlooking the mountains beyond – your breakfast stop. You’ll indulge in a traditional Canadian breakfast made up of scrambled eggs, bacon, Yukon gold potatoes, cheese, sauteed onions and peppers, alongside waffles and maple syrup, all cooked on an old-fashioned wood stove.
Once you’re full and ready to face the day, you have the opportunity to take your snowmobile onto the frozen lake before driving off into the alpine wilderness back to basecamp for the shuttle back to Whistler downtown.
