Situated around 120 km from La Serena in a stunningly quiet corner of the Elqui Valley, this country house has dedicated itself to preserving the local culture and traditions. The main house was built of adobe in the 1940s and while it was recently refurbished still has many original quirks. The eight rooms are comfortable and have all you need, but it is the people who work here who make it special.
There is a wonderfully homely feel as soon as you arrive and with meals included and served at one long table you soon get to know everyone as well. As well as stargazing you can also walk down to the river, hire bikes or relax by the pool.
