Visit Puerto Natales, Chile
Jump to:
This stunning town lies some 250 km to the north of Punta Arenas on the shore of the Ultima Esperanza Sound. It is primarily used by visitors as a base from which to visit Torres del Paine National Park, which is around one and a half hours to the north.
From Puerto Natales you can also visit the Serrano and Balmaceda glaciers, or board the NAVIMAG ferry to Puerto Montt, which although not being the most luxurious of experiences is certainly a spectacular one.
