Diphlu River Lodge

Diphlu River Lodge offers the most accommodation in Kaziranga National Park, located among farmland and forest around 15 minutes by road from the central range of the park.

The lodge is run on eco-friendly principles and combines luxurious touches with rustic design. With just 12 rooms in total the atmosphere is friendly and relaxed. Each room is designed in the traditional style of accommodation in the area, rooms are on stilts (the heavy annual monsoon rains completely flood the park and the surrounding area) and building materials are primarily wood and bamboo.

The lodge is located overlooking the River Diphlu, which forms the boundary to Kaziranga National Park. The main lodge building houses a library and a restaurant which serves a fusion of local Assamese and continental cuisine, and there is a well stocked bar where you can enjoy an evening drink looking out into the Park.
