Rooms
In keeping with the property’s rustic heritage, each room is named after a plant, fruit or flower that can be found on the farm. The majority of rooms are located in the main house, although there are a handful of additional rooms in the beautifully converted nearby outbuildings. All rooms contain a stylish mixture of antique furniture and contemporary design elements and boast modern bathrooms. All feature heating and air conditioning and offer tea and coffee-making facilities.
Location
Part of a working farm, complete with some 15,000 olive and almond trees, Mandranova is located in the countryside around half an hour from Agrigento. Offering easy access to the Valley of the Temples and well located for those venturing to or from Sicily’s Baroque south, Mandranova is in a great position.
Food and drink
A breakfast of homemade delicacies is served in the main dining area each morning, and guests can choose to eat inside or out on the terrace. In the evenings, a refined menu of Sicilian cuisine is on offer and can be enjoyed by candlelight on the terrace as you soak up the peaceful atmosphere.
Facilities and activities
Guests can enjoy tours of the olive groves and olive press and, depending on the season, witness some of the activities associated with the olive harvest. Cooking courses that focus on traditional Sicilian cuisine are also available. Guests can use the swimming pool, made from a converted irrigation tank and surrounded by olive trees, located just a short distance from the farmhouse.
