International outbound flight , Pisa , Gaiole in Chianti
Today you begin your journey by boarding your international outbound flight to Pisa. You'll be met at the Pisa airport and escorted to your private car where a driver will transfer you to your hotel in the heart of Tuscany. On the way enjoy a short photo stop at the Leaning Tower of Pisa. Your hotel, Badia a Coltibuono, is a former monastery dating back to the 11th century and is a wonderful historic property to explore.

Tuscany , Gaiole in Chianti
Today take part in a cooking course with the house chef at Badia a Coltibuono. Have a go at making pasta from scratch as well as learning about a number of other specialties. Many of the ingredients used in this course come directly from the gardens at the property. In the afternoon spend some time meandering through the beautiful gardens or simply laying by the pool.

Gaiole in Chianti , Florence
This morning you'll be met at your hotel for your private transfer to Florence, which will take just over an hour. After checking into your Florence hotel you will have a free afternoon to explore. We particularly recommend heading to the Duomo (cathedral) where you can climb both the bell tower and the dome for spectacular views of the city.

This morning you have a guided walking tour of Florence with your own local expert guide. On the tour you'll visit a number of historical boutiques and artisan workshops, including the bustling Mercado Centrale (central market). Learn about traditional leather making and watch a demonstration on how the beautiful patterned, Florentine paper is made. In the afternoon you'll have free time to explore more of the city on your own.

This morning your private driver will transfer you to the train station for your premium class train journey to Rome, which will take around two hours. Upon arrival you will be met and traversed through the city to your hotel. In the afternoon partake in a private guided tour around the heart of the city, visiting some of Rome's most famous landmarks, including the Trevi Fountain, Piazza Navona and the Pantheon.

Today you will learn about the history of Ancient Rome on a privately guided tour of the Colosseum and Roman Forum. After a break for lunch, you'll visit the Palazzo Valentini for a fascinating audio visual tour that takes you underneath the building and reveals some of the wonderful Roman remains buried deep under the city.

This morning your private driver will transfer you to the Roman Gladiator School, located on the historic Appian Way. During your two hour class you'll learn the historic background of the Ancient Roman gladiators and practice the training and skills they used over 2,000 years ago. After the class, you will be taken back to your hotel and have the rest of the day free to explore more of Rome.

Today embark on a private tour of the Vatican Museums, Sistine Chapel and St. Peter's Basilica. You'll be expertly guided through Vatican City while learning all about Michelangelo's contributions to the museum and the centuries of art that is housed there. Following the tour spend the rest of the day at leisure.

Rome , Naples , Campania , Sorrento
Today you'll be transferred by private car to Rome Termini station for your premium class train ride to Naples, which will take just over an hour. Upon arrival meet your driver and head to Pompeii for a private tour of the excavations. Relish in a 4D experience which allows you to virtually view what Pompeii would've looked like before the eruption in 79 AD. At the end of your tour continue on with your driver to Sorrento.

This morning meet your private guide and travel by car to a private jetty in the Sorrento port. Board your own private boat for an excursion to the beautiful island of Capri. Soak up the spectacular scenery as your driver sails you to the island. Once you land disembark and explore Capri with your guide. After the tour meet the boat driver at the marina and sail back to the jetty in Sorrento where a private driver will transfer you back to your hotel.

After a busy day yesterday, spend this morning relaxing by the pool or exploring more of the town. In the late afternoon your driver will transfer you to the marina for a three hour fishing trip to catch your own dinner. Returning to the mainland with your catch, you will be able to watch your last Italian sunset as the chef prepares your meal.
