This brilliantly designed hotel feels very modern but retains much of the traditional Japanese charm that you would expect from Kyoto. Each of the rooms is stylishly decorated, with a feature panel behind the bed, vibrant soft furnishings complementing a generally muted palette, and a window seat accented by large floor cushions.
