What our specialists say...
Most people visit Mauritius to enjoy the undoubtedly fantastic beaches, but this itinerary also allows you to spend time in the picturesque, little visited rainforests and mountains of the interior. The itinerary begins with three nights in the tranquil Chamarel area, staying at a lovely boutique lodge that we firmly believe represents the best value for money accommodation in Mauritius. You can explore this verdant area in walks or by mountain bike, visiting the famous Chamarel Seven Coloured Earth and looking for the endemic pink pigeon. After this you head for the beach to enjoy the golden sands, warm Indian Ocean waters, exclusive service and world class spa treatments that Mauritius is renowned for.
