Itinerary idea
With international business class flights from a choice of airports including London, Birmingham, Manchester, Newcastle, Edinburgh and Glasgow.
-
Today you begin your journey by boarding your international outbound flight to Marrakesh. On your arrival at Marrakesh Airport you will be greeted by one of our representatives who will escort you to your private car, where you will then be transferred to your very own private riad in Marrakesh. The short drive passes the main train station, through the modern city and into the heart of the ancient medina where your private riad hides in the maze of souqs. A fast track service is included at Marrakesh Airport to avoid any long queues on your arrival. The afternoon will be at your own leisure to relax in your new surroundings at Riad Ilayka.
-
Today you will have your own private guide and private driver to take you around the vibrant city of Marrakesh. You will have the opportunity to visit the beautiful Saadian Tombs as well as Bahia Palace and the exterior of Koutoubia Mosque. In the afternoon you will be guided around the different quarters of the medina seeing craftsmen still practising their traditional trades.
-
Your first full day at leisure in Marrakesh. We suggest basing yourself at the wonderful Djemaa El Fna square, full of the hustle and bustle of life and reminiscent of a medieval marketplace. You will see snake charmers, orange juice sellers, ladies painting henna on hands and feet, fortune-tellers, scribes, musicians, traders of all description and more. It is a fantastic sight for tourists and locals alike.
-
This morning your private guide and private driver will collect you and take you out to the greater Atlas area. You will have the opportunity to enjoy a wonderful half day trek in the mountains. You have your own guide so you are able to go at your own pace, and have the walk tailor-made to suit you.
-
A second day at leisure in Marrakesh. Perhaps spend more time browsing the goods in the souqs, drinking mint tea in the cafés, or enjoying the views from your riad's terrace.
-
Today you will have a cookery class at La Maison Arabe which will give you a true taste of Morocco.
-
Your last full day in Marrakesh to take in the scenery and maybe take a walk, visit the souqs for some last minute shopping or relax at your private riad.
-
You will be collected by your private driver after breakfast and will be taken to Marrakesh Airport for your onward flight. Your return flight will arrive the same day.
