The Olive Grove, Akaroa & Banks Peninsula, New Zealand
Located in a sheltered valley, just a short drive from picturesque Akaroa and an hour from Christchurch, The Olive Grove offers luxury B&B accommodation with breathtaking views. This 1915 character home has been fully renovated to provide light, spacious rooms and cosy lounges with open fires, and the outdoor spa is the ideal place to relax and take in the views.
Each of the four en suite guest rooms has been named after one of the olive varieties that grow in the grove, to reflect the room's unique character and personality. Two of the rooms can be booked as a family suite, which is ideal for small groups travelling together. A delicious and varied breakfast is served by your hosts, and includes home-made muesli, yoghurts and jams, freshly squeezed juices, seasonal fresh fruits and a selection of cooked dishes. The Olive Grove is home to Robinson's Bay Olives, with over 1000 olive trees, giving you the opportunity to sample the pure and flavoured oils and selected table olives.
