
Periwinkle Guest Lodge
The lodge's interior is decorated in a sophisticated nautical theme that's in keeping with the property's seaside surroundings, with a soft colour scheme of relaxing neutrals accented with tranquil blues and pale greens. The spacious veranda and sparkling infinity pool boast wonderful uninterrupted views of the Robberg Penninsula stretching to the Tsisikamma Mountains. The property offers a number of open plan communal areas that are filled with natural light, high end furnishings and plush, inviting sitting areas, creating the perfect setting for relaxation and socialising at the end of a busy day.
Rooms
The guest rooms offer spacious, comfortable seaside accommodation. Each one is light and airy, featuring twin beds that can be converted into a king size bed, and all but one boast private balconies to enjoy spectacular views of the ocean. Rooms also provide en suite bathrooms, tea/coffee making facilities, TVs, hairdryers, heated towel rails and a beach bag for your use. Some rooms, additionally, have underfloor heating and fireplaces.
Location
Periwinkle is situated in a quiet residential suburb, a short stroll from the golden sands of Robberg Beach, which culminates with Robberg Nature Reserve’s enormous seal colony. It's also within easy reach of all that the Plettenberg Bay area has to offer, making this an ideal location to stop and explore whilst travelling the Garden Route.
Food and Drink
You'll be greeted each morning with a continental cold breakfast selection and cooked to order hot breakfast options prepared by the talented in-house chef. Each day you can enjoy complimentary afternoon tea with house wine, snacks and cakes. The friendly staff are happy to assist you with recommendations or reservations in and around Plettenberg Bay, where the diversity of restaurants is sure to delight even the most discerning foodies.
Families
Though the property does allow children, the rooms with balconies would not be suitable.

This is a beautifully located option for those celebrating a romantic honeymoon or anniversary.

Periwinkle describes itself as 'a little piece of paradise', and we have to agree. We suggest exploring the exciting Plettenberg Bay area then retreating to Periwinkle to enjoy the stunning views and warm hospitality.

There are a few outfits that offer sailing trips into Plettenberg Bay as well as sea kayaking. Apart from spectacular off-shore coastal scenery, it is very likely that at some stage, a close encounter with the marine animals will occur so you can get very close to them.
