The timeless charm of a bygone era radiates from the Reverie Siam, a delightful riverside boutique hotel located on the outskirts of Pai. It is set on the banks of the River Pai and channels all the romance and elegance of the colonial era into its lovingly-designed rooms. Great attention to detail has gone into the styling of each space, with books casually laid open on sideboards, musical instruments adorning the walls, standard lamps offering subtle lighting and windows opening out onto glorious views of the exotic gardens and jungle and mountains beyond.
The elegantly refined rooms are similar in style with curios, art works and antiques offering a sense of nostalgia to the setting. The spacious villas have their own private garden area, while some rooms offer direct access to the two swimming pools, one a riverside infinity pool, the other a larger free-form pool. A riverside pavilion is a pleasant place to relax during the day, with riverside walks should you muster up the energy, while the intimate library is a quiet spot for an evening drink.
Contemporary Mediterranean dishes and a long list of tapas are available at the Silhouette Bar & Restaurant, though should you wish to venture into town for meals, the hotel operates a complimentary shuttle to and from Pai on request.

The nostalgic colonial style of the common areas continues in the 20 romantic rooms which feature weathered shutters and aged plasterwork on the outside and European antiques, musical instruments and fine textiles on the sideboards and decorative alcoves inside. Expect rain showers, baths and handmade soaps in the bathrooms, and views of the gardens, Pai mountains and river. The villas are set in their own private gardens with outdoor pavilions, while the Deluxe Pool Access rooms open out onto the free-form stone pool. All rooms have free Wi-Fi, minibar and LED TV and DVD player.
Set on the banks of the Pai River, just outside the popular northern Thai town of Pai, Reverie Siam has a tranquil rural location. A regular shuttle service takes guests into the town, a five minute journey away, where you can explore the markets and temples.
Food and drink
The Silhouette Bar & Restaurant serves mainly contemporary Mediterranean dishes and an extensive selection of tapas along with some regional Thai specialties. Guests can dine in the restaurant overlooking the gardens, on the terrace or in the library. Along with organic herbs and vegetables from the hotel garden, you'll also get homemade breads, a decent wine list, craft beers, freshly pressed juices and local coffee roasted in house.
An enchanting place with carefully-styled interiors that offer a sense of timeless indulgence, we love the interior decor, riverside pools and sweeping views at the Reverie Siam.
