Rooms
Large windows flood the ten guest rooms with natural light and offer views of the hotel gardens and water beyond. No two rooms are styled in the same way, but all are classically French in their design using local patterns on the curtains and quilts, impressionist scenes on the walls and antique furniture to expertly create a subtle balance between tradition and modernity. All feature free Wi-Fi, flat-screen televisions and bathrooms with bath and shower. The Triple Comfort room also has its own balcony.
Location
Le Manoir des Impressionnistes has a peaceful, riverside location just outside vibrant Honfleur. It's a leisurely ten-minute drive to the bustling, restaurant-lined port and you can easily hop in a taxi in the evenings to have dinner in town or stay put, and take in the vivid sunsets over the Seine, which flows right in front of the hotel. The historic D-Day beaches are a bit further afield and can be accessed in a drive of about an hour and a half.
Food and drink
The chef prepares regional dishes using seasonal produce from the hotel’s vegetable garden and local farms. The breakfast menu consists of assorted breads, jams, fruit and other à la carte items served with freshly squeezed fruit juice. Lunch and dinner are served in the hotel’s outdoor terrace or small, gastronomic restaurant overlooking the sea.
Facilities and activities
The property’s secluded spa, located in a beautifully renovated farmhouse, includes a steam room, sauna and an outdoor heated resistance pool. The spa also offers body scrubs, massages, facials and a variety of beauty treatments designed to revitalize the body.
