Receive a true New Zealand welcome today and be collected straight from the airport by a local and into the highlights of Auckland, but at a pace that best suits you. You may wish to take to the harbour and explore by foot, stretching your legs and perhaps experiencing some of the city's great cafe culture; or you may decide to get some mountain air and get to see a different side of Auckland away from its hustle and bustle. Your private guide will be with you to make the best suggestions and to help you see and understand the city through the eyes of a local, taking you to your city centre hotel by which time it will be ready for immediate check-in.
-
As you would have seen the previous day, Auckland is a multi-faceted city and lying a short ferry ride away from its central harbour is the attractive Waiheke Island, home to artists, wine growers and those that enjoy a different pace of life. We've arranged for a return ferry pass across to Waiheke from where you'll be met and spend the day sampling some of the island's best wines on a small group tour.

Your scenic seaplane flight will first fly north out of the city and over its golden northern beaches, before landing on the picturesque Hawkesbury River.
