Itinerary idea in detail

Private customized tour. Ask us about booking your international flights at our preferred rates.

  • On arrival into Edinburgh, you'll be met at the airport by your private driver and transferred to your centrally located hotel. Later, join a shared whisky and folklore tour, which takes you through the heart of the city while teaching you more about Scotland's legends and 'water of life'.

  • Meet your private guide this morning and embark on a walking tour through Edinburgh's Old Town. You'll explore its narrow alleyways and ancient buildings while learning about the city's history. You'll end by exploring the prominent Edinburgh Castle.

  • Today you'll be met and driven to the north part of Edinburgh, where you'll meet your guide and embark on a private boat trip out onto the Firth of Forth. This is an excellent opportunity to explore some of the numerous islands in the mouth of the river, as well as spot marine wildlife such as dolphins, porpoise and seals.

  • Pick up your hire car this morning and head west toward Oban. You'll drive through the southern Highlands then pass along Loch Fyne, famous for its seafood and salmon. On the shore of the loch sits the fairytale-esque Inveraray Castle, home to the current Duke of Argyll. Explore the castle and its grounds before continuing your journey onward to Oban.

  • Your three-day wildlife exploration through some of the Inner Hebrides islands begins today. You'll head over to the island of Kerrera with your private guide (who stays with you for the next three days), for a leisurely hike. You'll cover about seven miles over the course of four to five hours, with plenty of time to stop and rest, and explore interesting sites on the way. Lunch is included in a local teahouse.

  • Today you take the ferry over to the Isle of Mull where you'll spend the day with your guide watching for white-tailed eagles, golden eagles, seals and otters. Lunch is included.

  • You'll be cycling with your guide today, exploring the island of Lismore and the mainland north of Oban. Lismore was a hub of early Christianity and has a fascinating history, which you'll learn more about as you cycle across the island. Lunch isn't included, but we highly recommend stopping at the excellent seafood restaurant in Port Appin, once you've taken the ferry back to the mainland. You'll be cycling on easy, quiet roads and bike paths. On your return to Oban, drive northwards the short distance to Glencoe.

  • Meet your private guide today and get out and about in the dramatic mountain scenery of Glencoe by embarking on a guided hike. In good weather, the views from the top of the Pap of Glencoe are fantastic, encompassing the surrounding lochs and mountains including Ben Nevis, the highest peak in the UK.

  • Drive across the desolately beautiful scenery of Rannoch Moor today, heading south toward Loch Lomond. Here, you'll board a seaplane and enjoy a scenic flight over the lochs and mountains of the West Highlands. The flight ends with a glass of champagne once you're back on land. In the afternoon, set off on a shared kayaking excursion to explore the islands scattered across the southern end of Loch Lomond.

  • Drive the short distance to Glasgow today, to return your car and board your onward flight.
