Includes international flights from a choice of UK airports, including London, Birmingham, Manchester, Newcastle, Edinburgh and Glasgow.

  • Today you begin your journey by boarding your international outbound flight to Lusaka.

  • On arrival in Lusaka you will be met and assisted through the airport. Your driver will then take you through the outskirts of Lusaka and then on through the Zambian countryside to your lodge in the central Kafue National Park.

  • Today you will have a full day on safari from Mukambi Safari Lodge. Enjoy morning and afternoon game drives within the national park or a boat trip on the Kafue River.

  • Today, you will leave Mukambi and travel north to Busanga Plains camp where you will spend the next three nights in this wild and remote part of the park.

  • You will spend your time at Plains Camp enjoying game drives in open 4x4 vehicles. The morning activity will normally depart just after breakfast and you will spend about three to four hours exploring the plains, looking for game. You will then return to the camp for lunch and a siesta before heading out again at tea time for another game drive, stopping for sundowners and then continuing after dark with a spotter who uses a lamp to find the nocturnal animals.
