Rooms

The Suites at Marigot Bay are stylish and modern, with subtle hints of West Indian influence through art, bedding and decor. Find yourself transported to a peaceful haven after a long day relaxing or exploring, to a beautiful room with a four-poster bed, private outdoor terrace or even a hot tub. Guests have a choice of a bay view from their suite so they can look over the calm waters of Marigot Bay, or a resort view room which overlooks the lush tropical gardens and is perfect for a spot of people watching.

For a little more space or to accommodate larger groups and families, the hotel offers one, two and three bedroom suites in either the residence or penthouse style. The residences all include a fully fitted kitchen, spacious living room and a private dining room. There is also the choice of a luxurious private plunge pool.

Penthouse suites are set high onto the hillside, offering views out onto the bay. There are one, two or three bedroom suites to choose from, with all penthouse suites being set over two levels and having a full outdoor terrace with deckchairs and a plunge pool.

Location

Marigot Bay resort is situated right in the bay at Saint Lucia’s premier marina. The resort is surrounded by azure waters, dramatic mountains and tall swaying palms. Situated on the northwest coast of the island, the hotel is accessible from the international airport — a 60-minute drive away.

Food and drink

Overlooking the bay, the Grill offers high quality seafood and fine cuts of meat, cooked to perfection on the dramatic open fire in the center of the restaurant. There is a choice of dining alfresco on the patio to watch the sunset, or sitting inside the modern Caribbean inspired restaurant. Watch the yachts gently sway and bob in the marina as dinner is served at the Hurricane Hole restaurant down in the Marina Village. Traditional Saint Lucian dishes of salt fish and plantain are complimented by tropical cocktails or fruity smoothies. Both the Grill and Hurricane Hole are open for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

To get a truly Caribbean experience, guests can head to the Rum Cave for light bites, authentic live music from local bands and taste the islands delicious spirit. There is the chance to learn more about rum distilling and the history of the spirit in a private rum experience. For a truly romantic experience, book a private dinner in Alexandria Garden, the tree house or the rum cave, to enjoy delicious food and views in an intimate setting.

Poolside, the Brut bar has swim up service for all refreshment needs plus light dishes of sushi made from freshly caught fish. On the upper level pool bar staff wait on guests and make sure a cocktail isn’t far from their reach.

Families

Multi-room villas with private terraces and kitchens are ideal for accommodating families with children. The one and two bedroom suites have pull out sofa beds and twin rooms for smaller children. The resort offers four hours complimentary babysitting per week to allow adults some relaxation or private dining time. There are children’s menus in the restaurants and the Zando’s children’s activity program offers arts and crafts, nature walks and dance activities, to name just a few.

Facilities and activities

The heart of the hotel is its two glorious infinity pools and two poolside bars overlooking the ocean, take an afternoon dip and then relax with a delicious cocktail in the sunshine. For the ultimate relaxation, head to the spa for top to toe pampering or learn how to spa at home with delightful classes in couples massage or a body scrub workshop. The fitness facility offers yoga and pilates classes as well as a state-of-the-art gym.

Daily activities are run through the hotel to help guests explore the area, on both land and sea. Popular activities for the adventurous are snorkeling, sailing, deep sea fishing, river kayaking and hiking Gros Piton.

For the foodies, there are several classes to tickle tastebuds with rum tasting and infusion, signature cocktails, cocoa tea making and cookery demonstrations.

Marigot Bay provides the ideal setting for watching the world go by and relaxing at the island's most famous harbor. Bay view rooms are ideal for couples to enjoy the stunning views over the bay, while chic family apartments are complete with fully fitted kitchens and luxurious private pools.
