Day 2 Vancouver

Spend a day at leisure in Vancouver. There's plenty to see in this cosmopolitan city. Some of our suggestions include cycling around Stanley Park, which has a collection of replica totem poles, an aquarium and views over English Bay and Vancouver Harbour; soaking up the atmosphere in Chinatown with its quirky shops and markets; or taking a guided walk around historic Gastown to learn more about the city's past. Alternatively you may wish to head to Grouse Mountain for a spot of winter ziplining or ice skating.

Your cabin allows access to the train’s glass-domed observation car for a unique perspective as you journey towards the dense, snowy forests and jagged cliffs of the Rocky Mountains. When the sun goes down, you can retire for the night in your own private cabin.

Day 4 Jasper

Your guide will begin by taking you to explore the park’s mountain wilderness by snowshoe, sharing their knowledge of the ecology, geology and history of the area. After breaking for lunch, your guide will take you to the Athabasca Valley in search of wildlife from the comfort of a heated minibus. Keep an eye out for elk, coyotes, moose, red fox and even the elusive grey wolf. You could also be treated with the song of a chickadee, or the call of a white-breasted nuthatch.

Day 6 Lake Louise

You will travel along Icefields Parkway, renowned for being one of Canada’s most scenic drives; the route being surrounded by a marching column of immense mountains.
