Sarapiquis Rainforest Lodge
Sarapiquis Rainforest Lodge, Puerto Viejo de Sarapiqui, Costa Rica
Sarapiquis Rainforest Lodge is built in the style of a pre-Colombian village, designed and developed as an eco-model project using locally sourced sustainable technologies.
There is a beautiful infinity pool, restaurant, bar and 24 comfortable rooms providing spacious accommodation with en-suite facilities. The on site museum and botanical gardens provide an educational experience of the surrounding rainforest, flora and fauna.
Originally the property was built around a pre-colonial archaeological site with some fantastic graves and other remains that add a little bit of history to your stay. The hotel is also next door to the Tirimbina rainforest centre that is, perhaps, most well known for a tour that takes you through the process of making chocolate.
