Finca Rosa Blanca, San José & Central Valley, Costa Rica

Situated just fifteen minutes from Juan Santamaria International Airport, the Finca Rosa Blanca offers a tranquil environment with stunning views over the valley, beautifully painted rooms and a peaceful swimming pool and jacuzzi.

There are just nine rooms in total in the hotel, the atmosphere is homely and welcoming and there are plenty of quiet communal areas where guests can relax, as well as a good small spa. The Finca has an organic coffee farm (with tours a few times a day) and a stable of horses on hand if you want to arrange horseback riding.

Organic food is grown at the farm, making for delicious evening meals. Massages can also be arranged. The rooms are all furnished to a high standard and offer nice little touches such as coffee from the plantation as well as Wi-Fi throughout (there are also two computers for use by guests.)

Where possible, we like to offer a range of accommodation for each stop of your trip, chosen by our specialists as some of their favourite places to stay. To help you make the right choice, we give each property a rating based on its facilities and service, but we also look for hotels with distinct character or a location that can’t be bettered.

    Experiences while staying here

The following activities are designed to give you the most authentic experiences of the area where you’re staying. We work with local guides, who use their knowledge and often a resident’s eye to show you the main sights and more out-of-the-way attractions. Our specialists can also suggest outdoor pursuits and activities, such as cooking classes, that will introduce you to the traditions of the area’s inhabitants.
