Cala Luna is surrounded by lush tropical vegetation in an oasis of calm, away from the centre of Tamarindo. The hotel offers 20 deluxe rooms in the main complex and 16 fully equipped villas decorated with sturdy tropical wood ceilings. All rooms come equipped with air-conditioning and ceiling fans, cable TV, stylishly presented bathrooms and a private terrace.
There is also a very good sushi bar. Playa Langosta, with its pristine white sand, is perfect for an evening stroll (especially at sunset) and is only a five-minute walk from the hotel — there are no beach chairs. Whilst this is not good for swimming, Playa Tamarindo is a short walk away and is perfect for paddling and swimming.
