Growing up, I always had a passion in learning the history of the world. It was not until 2022 that I joined my cousin on my first international trip to Italy. Travelling throughout the Lazio, Campania and Molise regions of Italy had opened my eyes to culture outside of the United States. Between the rich history, architecture, fantastic people and food; I fell in love with travel.
Joining Audley has given me expertise in travelling and selling to the United Kingdom and Ireland. While visiting England, Scotland and the Republic of Ireland, I was amazed by the rich history of each, and am thrilled to share my knowledge of each location with other passionate travellers.
Outside of travel I am an avid runner, swimmer and lifelong fan of the Boston Red Sox.

Q&A with Mark

What’s your most vivid travel moment?
While travelling throughout Ireland, I had the opportunity to visit the Cliffs of Moher in County Clare. This had always been a top attraction on my bucket list for years. When we arrived at the picturesque cliffs, I was not only shocked by the stunning views, but was also shocked by the heavy rain and strong wind tunnel that the walking trail offered. Though I had not anticipated or desired this weather, it build a certain type of ambiance seeing the stormy clouds at the same level of the cliffs.

Where would you love to travel next?
Scuba diving the Great Barrier Reef in Queensland, Australia, has always been on my list. Between my fellow colleagues, friends from the area and passion for ocean conservation, I have heard and anticipate it being an experience like no other.

Which book, film or artwork captures the UK the most?
The St. Ermin’s Hotel in London is a fantastic location for art lovers. As soon as you enter the hotel lobby you are transported into a world of elegant storytelling. One piece of art I found fantastic was a portrait of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. The portrait was commissioned to mark the 2022 Platinum Jubilee and was painted by local artist Anika Manuel. The artist chose to embody The Queen’s both formal and playful personality during her 70-year reign.
