Nestled in a small hilltop village in the heart of the Lubéron National Park in Provence, Crillon le Brave is set in a cluster of eight rustic village buildings. The elegant rooms are flooded with natural light and offer views of either the Provençal landscape or the village of Crillon le Brave. This property provides an indulgent retreat with a large pool where you can enjoy panoramic views, treatment rooms where you can relax with a massage and three excellent restaurants. You can explore locally on foot and dine in the lovely village restaurants just a short walk from the hotel, or you can also choose to visit nearby Avignon which is about a 45-minute drive away.

Rooms

Housed in different buildings and all varying in size, rooms here are bright and flooded with natural light. The elegant decor includes crisp linens and pale earthy tones set against terracotta floors. Classic rooms here have lovely balconies, and other room categories have sweeping views from their windows of either the Provençal landscape or the village itself. Modern amenities, including Wi-Fi and air conditioning, come as standard here and most bathrooms have a separate bath and shower.

Location

Crillon le Brave is situated in a small village of the same name, home to only 400 or so residents. With the village itself at your doorstep, you can wander its quaint streets, take a taxi to one of the other nearby villages, or to Avignon, a journey of approximately 45 minutes.

Food and drink

The hotel includes three restaurants. Restaurant Jerome Blanchet serves gourmet French cuisine in a magnificent stone vaulted dining room or on the terrace with its sweeping views of the Provençal landscape. Bistrot 40K is more relaxed and prides itself on sourcing all its ingredients within 40 km (25 miles) of the dining table, and La Grange, on the main terrace, serves lighter fare for breakfast and lunch, as well as drinks throughout the day.

Facilities and activities

This property boasts multiple means for relaxation including three treatment rooms for massages and a large pool with panoramic views of the Provençal landscape. Electric bikes are also available for rent here for those looking to explore the surrounding area.
