Located right on the beach within the tiny Bay of Paraggi, Eight Hotel Paraggi offers a luxurious base from which to enjoy the highlights of Portofino. With just 12 rooms, it’s a charming and intimate option. Entering the hotel, you’re greeted with a light and airy interior, complete with glittering chandeliers and cool blue tones. The main restaurant overlooks the beach and boasts large glass windows that open out onto a small terrace for alfresco dining.

Guests can enjoy the use of the private beach at the front of the hotel. The heart of Portofino is reached in around five minutes via the hotel’s complimentary shuttle service.

A luxurious beachfront option, we love the relaxed but sophisticated style of the Eight Hotel Paraggi.

Rooms

All the rooms at the Eight Hotel Paraggi are furnished to the highest standards. The decor is stylish and modern, often reflecting the cool blue tones of the sea. While a number of rooms look out behind the property, there are a selection that offer views out across the waters of the bay. The luxurious split-level suite also boasts its own extensive terrace with a Jacuzzi overlooking the sea. All the rooms offer a pillow menu, and there are a small number of interconnecting options available for families.

Location

Just along the coast from Portofino, and nestled on the beachfront in the tiny inlet of Paraggi, the Eight Hotel Paraggi makes for an excellent base from which to explore the area or just relax by the sea. The hotel offers a complimentary shuttle service which takes you along the coast and into the heart of the town, a journey of around five minutes. From Portofino it’s then very easy to take one of the public ferries to explore more of the coastline, including Santa Margherita to the north and the secluded San Fruttuoso Abbey to the west.

Food and drink

Breakfast, lunch and dinner are all served In the hotel’s beachfront restaurant. Guests can enjoy wonderful sea views alongside gourmet cuisine. A bar and restaurant service is also available on the hotel’s private beach. 

Families

A child-friendly menu is available, as well as a special children’s buffet selection for breakfast.

Facilities and activities

To the front of the property, the hotel’s private beach has sunloungers, a bar and restaurant service, and Wi-Fi. Massages and a personal trainer service can also be arranged. A complimentary shuttle service run by the hotel carries guests into Portofino.
