Park Hyatt, Shinjuku

If you have seen the hugely successful film Lost in Translation, you will already have some idea of the stylish luxury the Park Hyatt exuberates. The hotel takes the top 14 floors of the Shinjuku Tower and offers spectacular views and a serene and elegant retreat from the hectic streets below. It is located in the heart of the bustling Shinjuku business and entertainment district, and has excellent access to Tokyo's many attractions.

Shinjuku Station is within easy walking distance of the hotel, from which a short ride on the Yamanote line will take you to Ginza, Harajuku, Shibuya and many other fascinating areas of town. The popular New York Grill on the 52nd floor, with its dramatic backdrop and bold paintings, provides live jazz music and creative cuisine.
