What our specialists say...
An ideal itinerary to visit the less travelled southern regions of Morocco, including the Anti Atlas and the Souss Valley. Following a night in Marrakesh, the route heads over the High Atlas Mountains via the spectacular Tizi-n-Test Pass to Taroudant. After exploring the charming walled town and beautiful surrounds, you head on to the remote Anti Atlas, stopping at the Ameln Valley en route to Tafraoute. Here you can admire the blue painted rocks of artist Jean Verame and the palmeries of Ait Mansour. Next are the deserted beaches of Mirleft, before the itinerary climaxes in the Souss Massa National Park.
