The Stiltz is located on the fringes of Swakopmund, overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. It is close to the Swakop river bed and a lagoon that attracts a myriad of seabirds, including pelicans and flamingos. While only a short walk from town it is peaceful and secluded, making a lovely base from which to explore.

As the name suggests, the property is built on high wooden stilts and connected by wooden walkways, all of which has been hand built by the owner. There are eight chalets, comprising three twins, four doubles and one honeymoon bungalow. Each has an en suite bathroom and balcony with spectacular views of the sand dunes and sea. There is also a spacious villa with three double rooms, two bathrooms and an open-plan living/dining area with a wood burner. Interlinking wooden walkways lead to other bungalows and the dining room, where good home cooking is served for breakfast.
