GocheGanas Nature Reserve & Wellness Village, Windhoek, Namibia

GocheGanas Nature Reserve and Wellness Village is situated twenty nine kilometres south-east of Windhoek. It is located on a private nature reserve that is home to white rhino, eland, oryx, zebra, kudu, wildebeest, springbok, giraffe and a variety of birds from hornbills to ostriches.

The lodge is sited on a hilltop overlooking the spectacular wilderness. There are sixteen private chalets, all perched on the lip of the hill with wonderful views. Inside, each chalet is luxurious with either twin beds or king-sized beds, deep leather armchairs, en suite bathrooms with bath and shower and wide verandas. All chalets are air-conditioned and have mini-bar, safes, air-conditioning and direct dial telephones.

The main lodge has a dining room serving excellent food, bar with perfect sundowner views and pool with large lawn and sun loungers. Sitting beside the pool you can watch the game come to the waterhole below. Finally, the lodge has an indoor swimming pool and fantastic wellness centre offering a variety of treatments. Overall it is an ideal place to stay for anyone wanting two or three days relaxation in real luxury at the start or end of a trip.
