The Vijitt Resort
The Vijitt Resort, Phuket, Thailand
The Vijitt is located on Friendship Beach at the southern tip of the island and when the site was originally developed into traditional beach huts over 60 years ago, it was one of the first ever accommodation options in Phuket. The Vijitt resort is now in its third generation and has transformed into a luxurious all villa property. All of the 92 villas have a very natural and organic feel whilst also incorporating traditional Thai design and modern luxuries.
The resort has a stunning infinity pool (one of the largest on the island) perfect for when the tide is out and swimming in the sea is not possible. It has to be said that the beach here is not great at the best of times, which is why they spent so much money on the beautiful pool area and developed complimentary excursions for guests. Complimentary transfers run daily to a choice of the best beaches on the island and to Phuket town if clients wish to shop. The trips to nearby Coral Island are also very popular; offering powdery white sand and great snorkelling in crystal clear water.
Back in the hotel you can choose from international cuisine or a beautiful Thai restaurant and the cocktail bar is the perfect location to enjoy the sunset. Other facilities include a modern gym, separate kids pool, a large and spacious Kids Club and a spa.
