Month long trip to South America

    02 Min Read

A group of friends and I are looking to take a four and a half week traveling vacation through South America, starting from Rio de Janeiro. We would be in Rio on the 1st August of this year and essentially would be traveling for the whole month of August. Ideally we would like to visit Argentina, Bolivia and Peru, however, we are unsure whether this will be possible!

    Montreal Jazz Festival

Hi. We are a couple of "young" pensioners, well traveled and reasonably fit. We would like to visit Montréal for the Jazz Festival this summer and then spend some time (7 - 10 days) seeing a bit more of Canada, which we have not visited before. Any suggestions?

    Visiting friends in Cape Town

    01 Min Read

We are going to stay with friends in Cape Town in May. We shall stay with them for the first four or five days, then visit the rest of South Africa, returning for two days to our friends in Llandudno Bay, before flying home. We are aged 68 and 69 and while we are generally fit and healthy, our walking over rough terrain would be limited. Could you suggest a 10 day itinerary which would allow us to see as many aspects of the natural landscape, cultural life, wild life of South Africa as could be managed during the period of 10 days? While we would not be looking for top luxury, we do like comfortable accommodation with a feel good factor, but much depends on the price of course.

Hi, we are trying to combine a holiday in Tanzania and Zanzibar, with visiting our daughter. We plan to fly through Dar es Salaam. We would like a short safari, and then go on to Zanzibar. Our daughter is in Arusha, and would love the beach holiday so we would meet her in Zanzibar. Any suggestions?

    Thailand and Vietnam

    01 Min Read

My husband will be working overseas for several months and has his first leave in May. We're looking for somewhere where we can "reconnect" with a balance of seclusion, luxury, unspoilt beaches, delicious food and a temperature in mid 20s! Thailand, Vietnam and Cambodia, all appeal but it looks like it would be rainy. He will be flying out of Dubai where I will join him. Can you advise on the best option?

Planning a family trip to Sri Lanka

    01 Min Read

We are a family of 4 with teenagers (boy 15 and girl 13). We are looking for a 10-14 day family holiday in August, combining some adventure with some relaxation. We have traveled to Vietnam which we all enjoyed but my daughter struggled with the culture shock and felt very homesick. We are considering Canada or Sri Lanka but are open to suggestions.
