Located off the famous road of antique dealers, Palais Khum offers a peaceful retreat for the discerning traveler in the heart of the old medina of Marrakesh. Restored from an ancient foundouk (caravanserai), this modern riad retains all of the charm and traditions surrounding Moroccan hospitality, with a contemporary twist.
Presented in an octagonal layout, the riad’s warm red and earthy tones feature throughout the property. Each of the rooms has its own unique design and are decorated with exquisite taste. With a large heated plunge pool next to the main lounge, Palais Khum also offers two hammams and a wellness center. A separate restaurant and café are also located onsite.
A lovely riad that combines the traditional and modern perfectly. We love that the rooms here are all very well appointed and exquisitely designed. We would highly recommend a meal on the terrace, which offers great views of the High Atlas Mountains on a clear day.

Rooms
The hotel offers Standard rooms, Junior suites and Suites. All of the rooms are uniquely decorated, but follow a mixture of Italian and Moroccan styles. Each room is lovely, but the spacious Junior suites are a nice step-up from the Standard rooms.
Location
Riad Palais Khum is found off the famous road of antique dealers, Dar El Bacha. It is centrally located, just a 10-minute walk from the main square. Although it is within the medina, it is only a short walk from the car park, making it very easy to access.
Food and drink
The riad has a restaurant and café which serve traditional Moroccan cuisine and Italian classics. The restaurant also has a full bar. A highlight of any stay at the Palais Khum is the Italian coffee and pastry shop, also located within the property.
