Angel Falls Base Camp
Angel Falls Base Camp, Gran Sabana and Angel Falls, Venezuela
Camping in Venezuela is never going to be an extremely comfortable experience but the purpose of this camp is for the un-matchable location close to the base of the Angel Falls allowing you to see the falls at the end of the day and first thing in the morning. Facilities include hammocks for sleeping, a mosquito net as well as flush toilets and outdoor cold water showers. Meals are served in a central communal area and dinners are cooked on a large outdoor barbeque.

We work with local guides, who use their knowledge and often a resident’s eye to show you the main sights and more out-of-the-way attractions. Our specialists can also suggest outdoor pursuits and activities, such as cooking classes, that will introduce you to the traditions of the area’s inhabitants.
Experience one of the most unmissable sights in Venezuela - The truly breathtaking Angel Falls, the highest waterfall in the world, plunging 979m down a vertical cliff from Auyan tepui.
At the base of the falls trek for approx 1.5 hours up to Laime's lookout, to watch the magnificent falls dropping 979 metres above you just 200 metres away - an awesome sight.
