Water levels permitting you will depart early this morning for a full day stunning trip by motorised canoe to the base of Angel Falls.
You take the boat on the Carrao river, crossing Mayupa Lagoon and Arautaima Rapids arriving at Orchid Island for breakfast. Leaving the Carrao river you enter into Churun river and the beautiful Devil's Canyon, carved through Auyan-Tepui tabletop mountain.
Have lunch on the way at Raconito Island and upon arrival at the base of the falls trek for approx 1.5 hours up to Laime's lookout, to watch the magnificent falls dropping 979 metres above you just 200 metres away - an awesome sight.
On your return stop at Sapo and Sapito waterfalls before arriving back to Canaima at approximately 6pm
